Oceane Qian-Feuillat

Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2025, Oceane Qian-Feuillat, is a freshman at McNair Academic High School in Jersey City, NJ. As a first-generation American of French and Chinese heritage, Oceane is fluent in French and Chinese, is learning Spanish, and has earned a Gold Award in the National Latin Exam.

Oceane aspires to become an environmental advocate, championing sustainable policies and engaging in international relations. She aims to pursue degrees in environmental science and international relations, collaborating with organizations and countries to create positive change.

Oceane won the North America division of the “Ambassadeur en herbe” (“Building Ambassador” in English) competition, which recognizes high-achieving students in public speaking, multilingual communication, and argumentation on international topics. She was invited by the Canadian Ambassador to France to attend the Paris Olympics.

Inspired by her journey, Oceane is dedicated to teaching young girls about self-confidence, public speaking, and embracing their uniqueness. She founded a confidence camp called GLOW (Girls Leading Our World), which focuses on self-love, public speaking coaching, and leadership development.

A two-time Scholastic Art Awards Key holder, Oceane is also involved in social activism through art. She creates artwork for UN Women events and volunteers at Encore Center to spark creativity in seniors. Oceane believes that art can be a powerful tool for social change and uses her art to raise awareness about global issues.

In addition to her diverse endeavors, Oceane has made her mark as a fashion model, gracing the runway at New York Fashion Week. Her experience in the fashion industry has provided her with a powerful platform to raise awareness for important causes, such as health issues, further strengthening her resolve to lead and drive meaningful change.

This summer, Oceane is excited to participate in a climate action summer program, working with organizations to advocate for a more sustainable future. Her commitment to environmental advocacy and leadership is reflected in her role as Miss New Jersey Teen USA 2025, where she is extremely honored to represent her state in the upcoming Miss Teen USA pageant.
